*I am excited to be at a season where I can start blogging again! :) Since I have several months of catching up to do, please take note of the date (month) in the blog post title rather than the date I posted. Also, you'll notice I tried to write like I would have at the present time of the post rather than writing like it was many months ago. This is important since a lot has changed since then!
Giving God Glory
God's Loving Care - Cast all your cares on Him, because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 We praise the Lord for His loving care in Camren's, our nephew, life. He had an infection (called retropharyngeal abscess) behind his throat in the back of his airway. It is easily treated, but it can be life-threatening if left untreated. The Lord worked through loved ones and others who care for Camren to recognize something was wrong and to admit him into the hospital asap where he received great care and recovered quickly. We are grateful for the Lord's sovereignty and loving care for Camren during this health trial. The photo is of Camren in the hospital after receiving antibiotics through an IV. He did great through it all! We love you Camren! What's on the Harrisons' Hearts
Hoping & Holding Desires Loosely - We had a couple encouraging things happen this month with the Lord blessing us with a little one on the way and with a buyer who showed strong interest in our home. We are hopeful that the Lord will sustain this pregnancy, and we had been hopeful that the Lord would sell our home. We realize the need to hold these desires loosely and trust in His wisdom and not lean on our own understanding in what we think is best (Proverbs 3:5-6). The Lord chose not to sell our home, and our 6 month contract for our home being on the market ended March 30. So, we are thankful for the Lord answering our prayers for wisdom and for making His will clear. We plan to enjoy staying in our home in Falcon for another 5-7 years before we try to sell again.
As for our hopes with our little one - We have a game plan with my OB on seeking to strengthen my pregnancy medically through various means. We know the Lord may work through medicine to bless us with this little one, but we also know that He may call this little one home to Him regardless of what we seek to do medically. It is comforting to know that He is sovereign over everything we do or don't do and that His plan will prevail. So, we are hopeful with this pregnancy but also holding our desire for more children loosely, knowing that He is good and knows best and that His plan may look different from ours.
Praises & Prayers
Friend in CO Springs - Prayer for God's will to be done with possibly moving and finding jobs in another state.

Our Family - Praise for God blessing us with a little one on the way. Prayer for God's protection and for Him to sustain our little one, but ultimately for His will to be done. Praise for God answering our prayers for His will to be done with selling our home and for making it clear that He has for us to stay where we are longer. Prayer for God's grace as we travel as a family to TX next month and adjust to living there temporarily for 3 weeks during a class that Wes has to take for work.
Wes - Praise for the Lord giving Wes opportunities to continue to grow in sharing the gospel through witnessing with a friend in downtown CO Springs. Prayer for strength and discipline with completing the 3 week class in TX.
Christina - Prayer for wisdom with helping our family prepare for and adjust to living in TX for 3 weeks.
Noah - God would graciously save him at a young age and lead him to walk with the Lord all of his days, if that be the Lord's will. Praise for the Lord growing Noah in learning how to honor God with his body and for Noah enjoying songs about the Lord and His Word (ex. B-I-B-L-E). Prayer for the Lord to grow Noah in self-control and for wisdom for Wes and me in training Noah how to have self-control with his energy when worshiping with us in church and how to have self-control with his emotions, particularly when he does not get what he wants (Galatians 5:22-23).

Showings...showings...and more showings - This month was filled with a lot of last minute family teamwork and flexibility with a strong spurt of showings during the final month our home was on the market. We made lots of memories and are grateful that Noah enjoys helping and cleaning. :)
Sharing the Gospel in the Springs - Wes went out with Steve Johnson a few times to share the gospel in downtown CO Springs. The Lord grew Wes in boldness in sharing his faith and gave him a great opportunity to share Christ's love in a very tangible way with one couple. Praise God!
