...September consisted of some more new untertakings for all 3 of us! Wes competed in his 1st Biathalon (running a 5K and biking 3 miles) and did fabulous!!! We were so proud of him!Christina started meeting with a couple Jehovah Witness women once a week in hopes of witnessing to them and helping them correctly interpret the Bible. However, after meeting 3 weeks, they said they would never believe in the Trinity, and therefore, they did not think it was beneficial to continue meeting... :( It was definietly a growing experience, and I still pray for them when they come to mind that God would open their eyes to His truth. Noah started his adventure into solid foods with great gusto and a few grimaces. We attempted a "fun getaway" to a cute little bed & breakfast in Black Forest (only 15 minutes away) with all 3 of us... Well, on the bright side, there was great hospitality, and we enjoyed talking with the hosts who were Christians; it was "fun" - for lack of a more appropriate term - and definitely a memorable getaway. Noah did not sleep well in his pack-n-play, so we got quite creative in trying to help him sleep and had some interesting conversations throughout the wee hours of the morning... yes, definitely memorable... Next time we want to enjoy a B&B, we'll let Noah have a sleepover with Grandpa and Grandma. :) 1/2 year Noah stats - 16 lbs. 6 0z. and 25 1/4 in. We celebrated Noah moving up from the 3rd% in lenth to the 10th%, though we're sure it will be "short-lived." :)
